PARENTS
WORKSHOPS
A
Parents Information Workshop is provided each term at central
location convenient for all. Each workshop focuses on a relevant
topic for parents/carers of children with SEN. We can also deliver
our workshops in schools on request.
The
aim of our workshops is to enable parents/carers to take an active
and informed role in their children’s education. The workshops
include information, practical strategies/tools to use, and activities
providing an opportunity to develop personal skills.
For
example the Praise and Play Workshop is very practical and looks
at using play, praise and rewards with pre school and primary
aged children. It would be suitable for any parent interested
in relationship building between them and their child.
